Conference Aim

The 2007 National Conference has two primary objectives of Celebration and Full Engagement.

Celebration: The African Christian Fellowship is 30 Years this year. To God be the Glory!! As we look back over the past 30 years, we recognize that we have come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord. Not only do we want to celebrate the past, we want to celebrate the glorious future of the Fellowship. In the Holy Scriptures the age of 30 is very significant. It marks the age at which David ascended the throne of Judah. It also marks the age at which our Lord Jesus Christ began His public ministry. Therefore the age of 30 signifies the age of transition from obscurity into prominence. The adults have laid a solid foundation; the young ones have "received the legacy" and together, with God, we will achieve prominence.   Full Engagement: The second objective of the conference is to persuade each member and potential member to be fully engaged in community mobilization for Godly impact. If we are to be the thriving Christian Community that we aspire to be then every member of the ACF should be fully engaged in crafting and implementing a comprehensive and written Macro Strategic Plan for community mobilization and development that focuses first on our overall goals, desires and objectives, and then on the strategies and tactics to get us there. To be fully engaged is to be physically energized, emotionally connected, mentally focused and spiritually aligned with a mission larger than our immediate self-interest. Full engagement is the key to igniting talent and skill, both individually and collectively.
