ACFUSA EAST REGION: PROGRAMS

When ACF started over two decades ago, our desire was for a place to provide a vibrant fellowship so that believers from Africa can remain united and strong in faith despite the many challenges we face here in the United States. Over the years, as the Lord blessed and established us, He has also enlarged our vision. He has opened our hearts and eyes to see the need for every African in the United States to reconnect with Africa, and make a difference in our beloved Continent. African believers here in the U.S. are well positioned to make the most significant impact on the Continent in every sphere - spiritually, economically and politically.

At ACF Missions, we are responding to God's call to bring Hope to the many people groups in Africa that are still unreached - those who have never heard of the love that took our Savior Jesus Christ to the cruel cross and the power that raised Him from the dead. We firmly believe that at the root of Africa's many social, economic and political problems is the cry for spiritual rebirth and revival. Too many of our precious people remain in the grip of Islam, Animism and nominal Christianity. This is the reason corruption, poverty, war and disease defy every human solutions and continue to ravage our precious homeland!

At ACF Missions, we sense God's call to be a voice for Africa's many unreached people groups and a voice to call the Church in Africa to reason and to action in winning unreached peoples to Christ. We want to be a vital part of the final harvest among presently unreached people groups in Africa. With the decline in the flow of missionary resources to Africa from the western world, Africans in the U.S. must rise and step up to the challenge. We also need to create opportunities for Africans to increase their involvement in missions and be a part of God's redemptive work in Africa as well as in the United States. To do this we must think strategically!<

ACF Mission has been involved in:

• Mobilizing prayers for unreached people groups and Missionaries working with them
• Promoting the ACF Missions Advocacy Network to give opportunity for broader missions participation and to encourage missionaries serving in Africa
• Supporting the training of missionaries in French speaking African countries
• Mobilizing and equipping the Church in Benin Republic to focus on unreached people groups
• Uganda Hope - a Christian response to the ravages of AIDS among Uganda's Children
• Kanuri Hope - passionate for the birth of the Kanuri Church
• Hope Education Project Sudan - Giving a future to Children in refugee camps in Northern Sudan, demonstrating the love of Jesus to the persecuted Church in Sudan and equipping the Church in Sudan to win penetrate unreached people groups in Sudan with the gospel.

Guess what, YOU are ACF Missions! Let us all arise and respond to God's call. You can be God's Heart, Hands and Feet extended to show His love to needy people in Africa.
