The vision of ACF USA states,
ACF shall be a thriving Christian Community that models integrity. excellence, and compassion to mobilize and empower Africans worldwide to impact their generation and Africa. This vision which has guided activities and programs for the past decade has its core essence aptly crystallized in three critical words: Mobilize, Empower and Impact.
In developing this vision ACF USA also developed four strategic core areas: Reconnecting with the Continent, Building Bridges; Building the ACF Family & Community; and Passing on the Legacy. These core areas are unified by Reconnecting with the Continent. While Building Bridges, Building the Family & Community and Passing on the Legacy are vehicles for mobilization and empowerment, Reconnecting with the Continent has become the primary area where the goal of impacting Africa is more directly realized. It is now the fulcrum of our ministry activities. The Great Commission (Mathew 28:18-20) is at the core of the ACF vision and mandate. The aim of our missions thrust is to mobilize resources and work in partnership with similarly minded organizations to win souls among Africa's unreached people groups, and to achieve transformative impact on the continent. We will accomplish this by tackling and investing in the following four focus areas:
- Evangelistic outreach & cross-cultural missions.
- Medical outreach and services
- Education
- Economic empowerment (sustainability strategy).

FOCUS AREA 1: EVANGELISTIC OUTREACH & CROSS-CULTURAL MISSIONS As a Christian organization with evangelism as our core mission, ACF USA will continue to prioritize soul winning as the highest reason for our existence. Everything we do, every partnership we develop, and every investment we make will help drive and catalyze the following goals:
- We will work closely with global partners of like mind toward the goal of planting a church by 2030 among each of the almost 1000 distinct ethno-linguistic groups in Africa considered unreached.
- We will invest in training, deploying and supporting 1000 new missionaries by 2030 who will be dedicated to evangelizing and planting churches among Africa's unreached people groups.
- We will engage in strategic conversations and build critical partnerships that will place the fellowship at the center of major initiatives in global missions focused on closing the Great Commission gap. This includes connecting with and playing a leadership role in relevant initiatives such as those sponsored by Movement for African National Initiatives (MANI) (maniafrica.com), Finishing the Task (www.finishingthetask.com), Vision 59, and The Issachar Initiative (issacharinitiative.org), among others.
- We will establish strategic partnerships with at least 100 local churches/congregations across the USA, including church movements within African American communities, to accelerate the pace of church planting and disciple making among Africa's unreached people groups.

FOCUS AREA 2: MEDICAL OUTREACH AND SERVICES ACF USA has a long history and very successful track record of conducting short-term medical mission outreaches in multiple countries across Africa. These outreaches have been conducted by individual chapters or regions with little sharing of best practices and resources across the fellowship. In order to scale our impact, we will:
- Strengthen and upscale existing efforts in the area of medical missions by creating "communities of practice" for physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, public health practitioners, and other allied medical professionals across ACF USA, to facilitate cross-sharing of ideas, information, and resources.
- Each ACF USA Region, by 2030, will establish at least one permanent medical facility such as a clinic or hospital at the places where we want to have long term impact. This goal is in addition to ongoing or completed hospital projects for ACF USA regions that have them.

FOCUS AREA 3: EDUCATION Education is the key to professional success. The missionaries that came to Africa in the early 1900s recognized the power of education to transform lives and invested in establishing schools across Africa to the benefit of many of us. Our vision and investments in the future of the children in the villages where we work should be no less. We have successful models of intervention in this regard that we can build on. Our goals in this area include:
- establish at least one new and well-resourced K-7/8 educational institution (primary school) somewhere in their areas of ministry by 2023.
- establish one boarding secondary school somewhere in their areas of ministry by 2025
- careers and professions. .
- establish an ACF USA branded/owned private university somewhere in Africa by 2030.
FOCUS AREA 4: ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT (SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY) The core purpose of ACF USA economic empowerment initiatives will be to enhance human well-being and to serve as a sustainability strategy within the communities where we work. Charity they say, begins at home and it is also widely accepted that "you cannot give what you do not have." In order for the ACF USA to successfully catalyze economic empowerment in Africa there is a need to cultivate and expand entrepreneurship amongst our membership. Accordingly, we have the following goals:
- Embark on a multi-year "Building Generational Wealth" training, mentoring and coaching program for all ACF Chapters to be led by some of the business owners among us. The goal of the program will be to foster entrepreneurship among our members that will lead to the creation of at least 1100 new business ventures by ACF USA members with a combined valuation of at least 100 million US Dollars. This vision includes creating a "business incubator" platform that will serve as a one-stop-shop of resources for starting, maintaining and growing successful business ventures.
- Establish at least 100 micro-economic and small scale enterprises in the communities where we work across Africa to create sustainable livelihoods for at least 500 ,000 people by 2030.
IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY The National Mission Council will empanel multiple work teams across the country who have expertise in specific areas relevant to the identified goals and objectives. The teams will develop an implementation strategy for each core area and also drive the implementation of the strategy with guidance from the National Missions Council and the ACF USA National Board.
