As many have acknowledged through various feedback loops, the 2021 ACF USA National Conference was a spectacular success, notwithstanding concerns over the Delta variant of COVID19 Pandemic.
Kudos to our fantastic co-chairs, Chisom Onyenezi, Damilola Jolayemi and Foluke Pope along with their dynamic team of subcommittee leaders, program directors, and numerous volunteers. A special shout out to our Events Planner/Coordinator Sister Mabel Olufelo and her I-Plan Services for masterfully guiding this team through the entire process.
Over 450 individuals across the age spectrum gathered at the Hilton Orange County Hotel in Costa Mesa California August 4 through 7. Keynote presentations by Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah, Ms. Ndidi Nwuneli, and Pastor John Enelamah challenged us to strive to be "A Community Making Great Impact". Afternoon breakout sessions explored challenging conversational subjects framed around four Ps: Prepare for Great Impact: The ACF Family; Position for Great Impact: Candid Conversations; Practice for Great Impact: Connecting Careers; and Produce for Great Impact: Refining Gold. Thursday evening spiritual encounter: Experiencing the Days of His Glory was a night of intercessory prayer, and Friday Night spiritual encounter featured a Night of Praise Jam. In keeping with tradition, Saturday evening banquet closed out the conference but this time a spectacular fashion show, African Drummer, and other musical entertainment by Daniel Olufelo, Amara Mgbeike and Ngozi Nnoli provided grand entertainment, and the evening was masterfully anchored by Brother Israel Onwuegbuchu. Thank you all for making the 2021 National Conference a grand success.
